Aquatic Eco Life started after several decades of love and dedication in the aquaculture industry. During the late ’70s, after receiving my BS in Biology at the University of Nevada-Reno, I worked with the Colombian Government Fisheries Agency.

Then, in the ’80s I worked as an independent consultant and established my own company in Bogota, Colombia, as a supplier of technical equipment; by that time the American Fisheries Society conferred the Fisheries Scientist Certification to me. During the ’90s, I sent equipment to Venezuela and Ecuador, and I represented my country by attending several international trade-shows.

Finally, from 2003 to 2019 I had the privilege to work for Pentair Inc. in Apopka, FL, USA. Today, I continue working in aquaculture. It’s my goal at Aquatic Eco Life to continue promoting aquaculture, and by doing so, to protect our planet’s natural resources; our fish is only as healthy as our waters. Our work in aquaculture depends on sustainability on a global scale.

University of Nevada, Reno. Elko Fish Hatchery. Nevada Dpt. of Fish and Game. 1.977
